Sennheiser MEB 114-S Cardioid Boundary Microphone (Black)

The Sennheiser MEB 114-S is a cardioid boundary microphone for meeting tables, boardrooms, lecture halls and classrooms — the situations where a microphone should be neither seen nor heard drawing attention to itself. It lies on the table and uses the surface as a reflector, which gives it more level and intelligibility than a conventional microphone at the same distance. The cardioid pattern faces the speaker and rejects sound from behind, so the projector, the air conditioning and the people behind stay out of the recording. The black finish disappears into a dark table and does not intrude on the meeting.
