Sennheiser IE 200

The Sennheiser IE 200 are audiophile in-ear earphones with a 7 mm dynamic TrueResponse transducer – the same type of transducer that drives the IE 300, IE 600 and IE 900. Diffuse-field equalization delivers neutral, detailed sound with no peaks or troughs across 6–20,000 Hz. The compact housing with adjustable ear hooks fits large and small ears alike, the ear adapters mount in two positions depending on how much bass you want, and the braided cable has MMCX connectors and a 3.5 mm jack.

7 mm TrueResponse transducer

The extra-wideband dynamic transducer reproduces fast transients precisely across the entire range with almost no distortion: total harmonic distortion stays below 0.08%. The same type of transducer drives the IE 300, IE 600 and IE 900.

Neutral tuning, no “bathtub”

The earphones are diffuse-field equalized, so neither bass nor treble rises above the rest of the band. With no peaks or troughs, no note gets lost, and even in familiar recordings you will hear details you have missed so far.

Braided cable with MMCX connectors

The detachable 1.2 m braided cable with gold-plated MMCX connectors and an angled 3.5 mm jack is optimized for low body noise. Unlike wireless earbuds, there is nothing to charge.

Bass to your taste

The ear adapters can be mounted on the earphones in two positions. The standard position is intended for reference listening, the outer position for analytical listening with less bass.

Two ear adapter positions
