Sennheiser EW-D AB (S) antenna booster

The Sennheiser EW-D AB (S) is an antenna booster for Evolution Wireless Digital wireless systems in the S band (606–694 MHz). With a typical gain of 12 dB it compensates for the loss of long antenna cables between the antenna and the receiver or splitter. It is powered with 9–18 V DC directly through the antenna cable and connects via two BNC sockets.

A strong signal at the end of a long cable

Placed between the antenna and the receiver, the booster restores what the signal lost in the cable.

Powered through the antenna cable

DC power travels through the cable from the OUT socket to the ANT socket, so the booster needs no power supply of its own and no extra wiring.
