Its impressive 134 dB audio input dynamic range helps preserve the detail of the incoming audio signal while minimizing the need for manual sensitivity adjustments.

Setup and wireless management are simplified through the Sennheiser EW-D Smart Assist App, which connects to the transmitter system using Bluetooth Low Energy. The automatic scan function helps identify suitable frequencies quickly, while the system's intermodulation-free digital transmission allows channels to be arranged on an equidistant 600 kHz tuning grid. With 56 MHz of tuning bandwidth and up to 2,240 selectable frequencies, the system is designed to accommodate demanding multi-channel wireless installations.

For portable operation, the EW-D SK can use 2 × AA batteries, providing up to 8 hours of operation, or an optional Lithium-Ion battery pack, which can provide up to 12 hours of operation.
