Five grams, the size of a thumb
The transmitter measures 28.5 × 17 × 13.4 mm and weighs 5 g. Clipped to a lapel or a shirt it stays practically invisible on camera, so the shot stays clean. It attaches by magnet or by clip — two of each are in the box.
Clip it on, or hold it
Dock the transmitter in the lighter-sized charging case and it becomes a handheld interview mic. The case magnetically holds two transmitters and a receiver, so the whole kit fits in a pocket.
USB-C and Lightning in one box
The SE-02 version includes both receivers: one for a USB-C phone or computer, one for an iPhone with a Lightning connector. The receiver draws power from the connected device — it has no battery of its own and needs no charging.
A clear voice even in noise
Saramonic’s first in-house AI chip removes up to 40 dB of background noise. Unlike conventional ENC, which only handles steady ambience, an algorithm trained on 700,000 samples separates the voice from sudden noise too — passing traffic, keyboard clatter, a barking dog. The level is switched right on the receiver in two steps.
Up to 28 hours of recording
The transmitter runs about 6 hours on a charge. The charging case can top it up while you record, so total runtime for the kit reaches up to 28 hours. A full charge takes roughly 1.5 hours.
Insurance against clipping
The built-in limiter steps in on a sudden loud passage. On top of that you can enable a −12 dB safety track that runs the whole time as a backup in case the main track clips.
Three EQ presets
Vocal Boost, High Boost and Bass Boost shape the voice without post-production. Add a low-cut filter at 75 Hz or 150 Hz against rumble and low-end noise.
App control
The Saramonic app switches the EQ, mono and stereo output, mute and output gain. Playback through the phone speaker works without unplugging the receiver.
