Saramonic 2x 3.5mm TRS Male to 4x XLR Splitter for Blink 500 Pro B8

The Saramonic SR-C2020 is a splitter cable for the 4RX receiver of the Saramonic Blink500 ProX B8 and Blink500 Pro B8 wireless systems. Two right-angle 3.5 mm TRS plugs go into the receiver's OUT1 and OUT2 outputs, and four male XLR connectors feed each of the four transmitters to a separate input on a mixer, recorder or camera. The cable is 0.6 m long; it comes included with the Blink500 ProX B8 kit.

Two right-angle TRS plugs

Two 3.5 mm TRS plugs with right-angle bodies on coiled sections go into the OUT1 and OUT2 outputs of the 4RX receiver. OUT1 carries transmitters A1 and A2, OUT2 transmitters B1 and B2.

Four male XLR connectors

The cable splits the left and right channels of both outputs into four male XLR connectors. Each carries the signal of one transmitter and plugs into the microphone input of a mixer, recorder or camera.

Four tracks from two outputs

In the 4RX receiver menu, set the track number to 4 and the output mode to stereo. The left and right channels of both outputs then carry one transmitter each, and the cable splits them into four separate connectors.

Four tracks into a recorder

With the SR-C2020 cable, the audio of four transmitters goes straight to four XLR inputs of a multitrack field recorder. Each speaker has their own track and their own level setting, so nothing needs to be split in post-production.

Additional information

The SR-C2020 is a durable splitter cable with an overall length of 60 cm: one end has two right-angle 3.5 mm TRS plugs on coiled leads running 38 cm from the split joint, the other four gold-plated male XLR connectors. The flexible coiled leads reduce tangling, and at 184 g the cable is well suited to field work with mixers, recorders, cameras and audio interfaces.
