The Samyang AF 35-150mm f/2-2.8 L is a lightweight all-purpose zoom lens that features a versatile range (covering five main focal lengths of 35/50/85/135/150), f/2-2.8 aperture, robust construction, excellent optical resolution, fast and accurate autofocus and comfortable operation. The use of a metal tube has improved the build quality and made the lens more robust. The zoom lock switch helps users keep the lens set at the shortest 35mm position, making it safer to carry. With the latest optical design using special lenses for 12 of the 21 elements (in 18 groups), this lens exhibits excellent optical performance throughout the zoom range from wide-angle to telephoto on L-mount models. In addition, "UMC (Ultra Multi-Coating)" technology is used to minimize flare and ghosting and help produce natural and clear images, and the lens is also weather-sealed. The linear stepper motor provides high response and accuracy for still and video shooting and is excellent for tracking fast moving subjects. The lens is also excellently optimized for video shooting. When you set the user switch to MODE 2 in AF mode, the focus ring operates with the aperture adjustment function. Switching to MODE 3 in MF mode activates a unique video function called "Dolly Shot". There are two focus hold buttons on the side that can be used as focus hold buttons in AF mode and as focus save buttons in MF mode.
