The WM-1D is a USB dongle that brings Roland WM-series wireless MIDI to Windows computers. It also unlocks 3 ms Fast mode for Mac and iOS and draws its power straight from the USB port.
Plug the WM-1D into an open USB port and your computer talks to WM-1-equipped instruments without a single cable.

The WM-1D is powered by the computer and communicates right away with WM-1 units and with macOS and iOS Bluetooth MIDI devices.
Fast mode brings latency down to 3 ms, ideal wherever timing is critical, such as drums and sync.
Besides note data it carries MIDI sync for tempo, effects, LFOs and loops. Your keyboard can sit anywhere in the room.
Standard mode links up to four devices with 7.5–15 ms latency. Fast mode connects two devices with 3 ms latency. Mac and iOS handle Standard mode over Bluetooth MIDI without the dongle; for Fast mode, just add a WM-1D.
The dongle adds wireless MIDI to Windows computers, which lack Bluetooth MIDI support on their own.
Enables Fast mode on Mac and iOS; iOS devices connect through the appropriate Apple adaptor.
A WM-1 adaptor plugged into 5-pin MIDI carries the signal from a keyboard or drum machine.
43 × 18 × 9 mm and 6 grams. The dongle can stay in your laptop for good.
If you're using a Windows computer, the WM-1D is what you need to bring wireless MIDI into your setup. Simply plug it into an open USB port for low-latency communication with any instrument or device equipped with a WM-1/WM-1D unit, or with iOS devices and Mac computers via Bluetooth MIDI. In addition to MIDI note data, you can send MIDI sync for tempo, effects, LFOs, loops, and more—all without connecting a single cable.
iOS devices and Mac computers can smoothly communicate with a WM-series unit in Standard mode over Bluetooth. But in situations where you need the fastest transfer speed possible, just add a WM-1D.
