Cartoni P20

Cartoni P20 is a compact, lightweight camera pedestal for mobile work and smaller studios. Its hexagonal pneumatic column carries 25 kg (55 lb) and raises the camera smoothly on shot. The column stroke is 40 cm; the working height is 74 to 161 cm. The foldable dolly has 100 mm wheels with foot brakes, cable guards and a six-position TRACK LOCK. It weighs 14 kg; a hand pump is included.

A pedestal that fits in a car

Cartoni scaled the proven P50 concept down for lighter cameras: a rugged, precise dolly and a central column with a hexagonal profile for stability and smooth running. You set the air pressure in the column by hand to match the exact weight of the camera.

Smooth elevation on shot

Balanced to the camera weight, the pneumatic column moves up and down calmly, without a jolt at the start or end of the move.

Gauge and safety valve

The column has a pressure gauge, a locking brake and a safety valve against overpressure.

TRACK LOCK

A six-position lock sets the wheels for straight tracking, curves or crab movement.

A brake on every wheel

The 100 mm wheels are braked by foot and cable guards push cables out of the way.

Foldable dolly

The dolly folds, so the P20 travels even in a passenger car.

Column controls

Pressure gauge, air valve and column lock sit within reach under the steering ring.

Hexagonal column

The column profile prevents rotation and keeps the camera stable at any height.
