A telephoto lens that achieves excellent image reproduction throughout the zoom range from the centre to the edges. The optimally arranged lens structure with one aspherical lens, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) and one UED (Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses produces detailed, high-resolution, high-contrast images. With a focal length of 200mm to 800mm (35mm equivalent), it is the ideal tool for capturing wildlife or sporting events. In addition, the separately sold 2.0x teleconverter enables 1:1 macro shots with a focal length of 1600 mm (35mm Eq.) for more impressive and detailed shots of flowers, animals and other subjects.
