Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S

The NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S is an all-round S-Line zoom for full-frame Nikon Z cameras, covering wide-angle to telephoto. The constant f/4 aperture keeps exposure the same across the range, it focuses from 0.35 m with a 0.39× ratio and weighs 630 g. Sealed against dust and dripping water, it suits travel and everyday shooting.

Every focal length tells a story

Sweeping landscapes, impressive architecture, lively street photography and captivating portraits. The 24–120 mm range lets you take in every angle without changing lenses, and for a zoom with such a range the lens is remarkably portable.

Wherever you wander

This high-performance lens with a rugged build will support you on almost any expedition. It is sealed against dust and dripping water, and the fluorine coat on the front element repels dirt and is easy to clean.

Close-ups at 0.39×

A minimum focus distance of 0.35 m across the zoom range and a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.39× (1:2.5) let you fill the frame with detail. Isolate subjects against a wide background or experiment with compression at the long end.

Consistent results and brilliant images

The constant f/4 aperture gives creative control for stills and video: when filming you can change focal length without changing exposure. Nikon ARNEO Coat and Nano Crystal Coat maintain high contrast and suppress ghosting and flare from light coming from any direction, so you get beautiful images even with light sources in the frame.

Controls and multi-focus system

The silent control ring makes it easy to set aperture, ISO or exposure compensation, and you can assign a favourite function to the L-Fn button on the lens. The multi-focus system with two precisely synchronised AF units focuses fast and accurately and suppresses aberrations across the focal range, for sharp results even up close.
