Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8

The NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8 is a compact, lightweight telephoto zoom with a constant f/2.8 aperture for full-frame Nikon Z cameras. It weighs 795 g, focuses from 0.27 m with a reproduction ratio of up to 0.48×, and works with the Z TC-1.4x and TC-2.0x teleconverters. Ideal for portraits, action, nature and video.

Constant f/2.8 aperture

Open up to f/2.8 for low light, lower ISO or faster shutter speeds that freeze motion. Set the aperture and shutter speed once, then change zoom and composition across the entire 70–180 mm range without affecting exposure. At f/2.8 you can also make portraits stand out with a softly blurred background.

Z teleconverters and close-ups

The minimum focus distance is only 0.27 m at 70 mm and 0.85 m at 180 mm. With the Z TC-2.0x teleconverter you get a 360 mm focal length and a near life-size reproduction ratio of 0.96×; with the Z TC-1.4x the longest focal length is 252 mm.

Cinematic video

Variable focal length, quiet focusing and suppressed focus breathing make this an ideal lens for video too. Easily film action from a distance, striking details with shallow depth of field, or shots with a parallax effect.

A versatile telephoto zoom

Light, fast and quiet, the NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8 handles flattering portraits, intimate city and landscape views, large-scale action and close-ups of nature with a beautifully blurred background. This telephoto lens is a great tool for anyone who wants full control over their images, offering outstanding performance in a compact body.
