The Neumann STH 100 is a high-quality stereo microphone holder engineered to support professional stereo recording techniques with Neumann AK-series microphone capsules. Designed for maximum flexibility, the STH 100 allows quick and accurate setup of both ORTF and XY stereo microphone configurations, making it an essential tool for recording engineers working in music production, broadcast, location recording, and acoustic measurement applications.

For ORTF stereo recording, the holder positions the microphones with a capsule spacing of 170 mm and an angle of 110°, closely replicating human hearing characteristics to deliver a natural stereo image with excellent localization and depth. For XY (coincident) stereo recording, the microphones are positioned with their diaphragms directly above each other at the same acoustic point, minimizing phase differences while providing a precise stereo soundstage. The microphone angle can be adjusted from 30° to 180° to accommodate different recording requirements.

The integrated swivel joint provides additional positioning flexibility and features a standard 5/8"-27 threaded mount. Included thread adapters for 1/2" and 3/8" microphone stands ensure compatibility with a wide range of professional mounting systems.
