The Neumann KK 133 microphone capsule is part of the renowned KM modular microphone system, combining interchangeable capsule heads with KM A (analog) or KM D (digital) output modules. Designed as a pressure transducer with an omnidirectional polar pattern, the KK 133 is optimized for diffuse-field applications, providing an exceptionally flat response in reverberant environments while maintaining remarkable detail and realism.

Its carefully engineered capsule features a gentle 4–5 dB high-frequency boost around 12 kHz in free-field conditions, enhancing clarity and openness without sounding harsh. In diffuse sound fields, the frequency response remains virtually flat up to 12 kHz, ensuring accurate reproduction of natural acoustic spaces.
