The Neumann KH 750 DSP is a compact, high-precision active studio subwoofer designed for small studio environments, especially when paired with KH 80 DSP monitors. Featuring a 10-inch long-excursion woofer, closed cabinet design, and advanced DSP-controlled Bass Manager (2.0/0.1), it delivers tight, accurate low-frequency reproduction with flexible analog, digital, and network control via Neumann.Control software.
The Neumann KH 750 DSP is a compact, DSP-controlled active studio subwoofer engineered for precise low-frequency monitoring in small to mid-sized professional studios. It is particularly optimized for use with Neumann KH 80 DSP monitors but can also integrate into a wide range of stereo, surround, and immersive audio systems.
At its core, the KH 750 DSP features a newly developed 10-inch long-excursion woofer housed in a rigid, closed cabinet. The sealed enclosure design ensures extremely fast transient response and highly controlled bass reproduction, while the large magnet structure and optimized linear airflow reduce distortion and improve accuracy at both low and high output levels. A durable protective grille ensures the driver is safeguarded in studio environments where floor placement is typical.
The subwoofer is powered by an advanced internal DSP engine that enables flexible Bass Manager functionality supporting both 2.0 and 0.1 configurations. This allows the KH 750 DSP to function not only as a traditional subwoofer but also as a central bass management hub for multi-channel and LFE-based systems. It can reduce the low-frequency workload of main monitors, increase overall system headroom, and significantly lower harmonic and intermodulation distortion across the entire monitoring setup.
Connectivity is highly versatile, featuring balanced analog XLR inputs and outputs, as well as AES3 and S/P-DIF digital inputs capable of handling up to 24-bit audio at sampling rates up to 192 kHz. System configuration, routing, and calibration can be controlled via Neumann.Control software through a standard LAN connection, enabling integration into both simple stereo setups and complex multichannel or 3D immersive systems.
The KH 750 DSP is also fully compatible with Neumann’s MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system, allowing precise room correction and system tuning for optimal acoustic performance in any environment. Its DSP architecture supports flexible routing, including mono, stereo, and surround configurations, making it suitable for modern production workflows.
Designed for music production, broadcast, mixing, and mastering applications, the KH 750 DSP is widely used as both a standalone subwoofer and as part of expanded Neumann bass systems, including integration with KH 805, KH 810, and KH 870 setups.
