Mofage Accessorie For POCO Circular-Polarizing Filter

Circular polarising filter in drop-in form for the MOFAGE POCO adapter. It suppresses reflections on non-metallic surfaces, brings out the sky and deepens colour saturation. The effect is set by rotating the filter.

Polarisation cannot be added in post — a reflection on glass, water or leaves can only be removed while shooting. The CPL handles it by rotating the glass: depending on the angle you either kill the reflection or leave it.

The cartridge carries a gear wheel of the same 0.8 module as the variable ND around its rim, so a follow focus motor can drive it and polarisation can be changed remotely, even mid-take. The filter slides inside the adapter, so the lens is never touched.

The glass carries an anti-reflective nano-coating that reduces flare and ghosting and is water- and oil-resistant — it cleans easily and copes with poor weather.
