Sennheiser EW-D ME2/835-S SET (R1-6) Digital Combo Set, 520–576 MHz

The Sennheiser EW-D ME2/835-S SET (R1-6) is a digital single-channel UHF combo set designed for vocals, presentations, and live performances. It combines the EW-D EM rack-mount receiver, the EW-D SK bodypack transmitter with the ME 2 lavalier microphone, and the EW-D SKM-S handheld transmitter with the MMD 835 dynamic cardioid capsule. The receiver processes one audio channel at a time.

The set combines a handheld microphone for vocals with a lavalier microphone for hands-free presentations. One EW-D EM receiver processes one active audio channel at a time; choose between a handheld or bodypack transmitter depending on the situation.

Automatic scanning helps you find an available frequency, and Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity allows for configuration and monitoring via the Smart Assist app.

WIDE TUNING RANGE

The R1-6 band covers 520–576 MHz. Across the entire 56 MHz bandwidth, the system offers up to 2,240 selectable frequencies and supports operation on up to 90 compatible channels.

BATTERY OPERATION

Each transmitter can be powered by AA batteries; according to the manufacturer, it provides up to 8 hours of operation. Optional BA 70 rechargeable batteries extend operation to up to 12 hours.
