The Manfrotto MVA520W-1 is a pair of 300 mm (11.8") 15 mm diameter lightweight aluminum rods, the longer of the two standard SYMPLA rod lengths. They form the backbone of any professional SYMPLA rig, serving as tracks for Fixed/Variable Plates, Flexible Mattebox, Follow Focus, and lens supports. Each rod has female 1/2"-13 threads at both ends and comes with two stainless joining screws, so multiple pairs can be connected end-to-end for even longer rigs.
