Manfrotto NANO CLAMP CAMERA

Manfrotto 386BC-1 Nano Clamp is a 106 g aluminium clamp for mounting cameras, small lights or compatible arms to round supports 13–35 mm in diameter. It offers a 4 kg load capacity, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 female mounting threads, a repositionable ratcheting handle and high-friction contact surfaces. The included Manfrotto 147 adapter has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 male ends for direct threaded mounting. Choose the matching thread and respect the lowest load limit of the complete setup.

Compact mounting

The 106 g Nano Clamp grips round supports 13–35 mm wide. Female mounting threads and the included 147 adapter connect compatible cameras, lights and arms.

A light grip for location work

The aluminium body, high-friction contact surfaces and repositionable handle make the clamp useful when space around a support is limited. Pull the handle outward, rotate it to a convenient angle and release it without undoing the jaw setting. The current body includes a notch; compatibility still depends on the arm's thread and attachment design, not on every spigot or arm fitting automatically. For camera, product-lighting and location setups, check the support, mounting interface and every component's load limit. A compatible arm may carry less than the clamp's 4 kg rating.

Choose by interface and load

Compatible Manfrotto 244MICRO and 244MINI arms are rated to 3 kg; SmallRig 5308 and 5309 to 1.5 kg. The complete setup is limited by its weakest component. For heavier work, Manfrotto 635 offers 15 kg capacity but weighs about 488 g and uses a different socket interface. SmallRig 5318 offers 15 kg capacity and 10–55 mm jaws, but its 1120 g kit is much heavier. Neither is an identical 106 g travel replacement.
