Two clearly defined connections
The female 3/8″ socket at the bottom joins the matching support, while the male 3/8″ screw at the top accepts the corresponding upper component. Match both threaded interfaces when assembling the setup.
Assembly illustration: the 209 tripod, 492 head and bag are not part of the standalone 259B column.
Keep the Manfrotto 209 tabletop tripod and add variable height to position the supported setup higher above the table. The aluminium extension weighs 100 g, making it a compact addition to carry with the tripod.
