The Manfrotto 231B is the ultimate mobile column stand for busy studios and location work. Its innovative design features a wheeled cross-base that completely detaches from the 35 mm black aluminum column for compact storage and transport, yet locks rigidly in seconds when needed. Built with a steel base and aluminum column, it safely supports 8 kg when used near minimum height and 2 kg at full extension. The top spigot offers 5/8″ (16 mm) Baby stud and socket plus both 1/4″ and 3/8″ threads for total compatibility.
