Product description
The Manfrotto 208 is a compact circular mounting adapter that converts the 16 mm (5/8″) socket of a studio clamp or holder into a top plate with a universal 3/8″ screw for a camera or photographic head. The 59.5 mm diameter plate provides a sturdy support surface; the round pin is suitable, for example, for the Super Clamp 035/035C and, unlike the hexagonal 208HEX version, allows the adapter to be rotated within the socket.
FROM A 16MM SOCKET TO A SOLID 3/8″ PLATE
Insert the 208 adapter into a compatible studio socket using its round 16mm pin. The top 3/8″ screw accommodates a camera, ball head, or other accessories with a matching thread, and the circular plate provides a stable base with a diameter of 59.5 mm.
This is a simple adapter between a standard studio Baby mount and a photographic thread.

ROUND PIN FOR ROTATION ADJUSTMENT
The round design can be rotated to the desired position before tightening the clamp. For greater resistance to rotation with heavier setups, the catalog also features the Manfrotto 208HEX variant with a hexagonal pin.
COMPATIBLE WITH SUPER CLAMP
