The aluminium 560BALLSH connects a video head with a flat 3/8″ base to a tripod with a 60mm bowl. Its short locking handle preserves a low profile and remains easy to operate for shots close to the ground.
Release the handle, level the head by moving the half ball in the bowl, then tighten the assembly securely. This establishes a level plane faster than changing the length of individual tripod legs.
The upper 3/8″ screw is intended for video heads with a matching flat base; Manfrotto cites the MVH500AH as an example. The lower half ball fits a 60mm tripod bowl.
