Manfrotto 45 cm Side Column Extension

The Manfrotto 820 is a 45 cm (17.75″) black aluminum horizontal extension tube that slides directly into the Manfrotto 809 Salon 230, 816 Super Salon, or older 800/809 stands, instantly adding 45 cm of reach to the crossarm. Perfect for overhead product shots, copy work or when you need extra distance from the column for large sets, slanted boards or down-angle shooting.

The Manfrotto 820 extension is the official accessory for the legendary Manfrotto Salon studio stands. One end has a male spigot that inserts into the crossarm’s female receiver, while the opposite end has a female socket that accepts any standard camera platform (305, 357, 808, etc.). Built from the same heavy-duty aluminum as the Salon arms, it maintains perfect rigidity even when fully loaded. At 1.27 kg it’s robust enough for daily professional use in reproduction, catalog, and macro studios.
