Manfrotto 16mm Female Adapter 1/4" to 5/8"

Manfrotto 194 is a lightweight aluminium adapter for connecting a standard 5/8″ (16 mm) Baby pin to equipment with a 1/4″ female thread. The socket is secured with a side screw and the opposite end provides a 1/4″ male screw: “Female” describes the socket, not the 1/4″ thread. Add a 1/4″ male screw to a 5/8″ (16 mm) Baby pin. The Manfrotto 194 combines a female socket, a side securing screw and a lightweight aluminium body weighing just 30 g.

Socket, not a female thread

The 5/8″ (16 mm) opening slides over a compatible Baby pin and is secured by the side screw. The 1/4″ connection at the opposite end is a male screw for equipment with a matching female thread. This distinction matters when choosing the rest of the mounting system.
