The MKE 40 is a high-end lapel condenser microphone with cardioid characteristics.
The MKE 40 is a high-end lapel condenser microphone with cardioid characteristics. It is mainly used in television broadcasting with miniature transmitters from the 2000/3000/5000/D6000 series (Lemo 3-P connector) or with transmitters from the evolution wireless series (3.5 jack connector with lock nut). For a fixed cable connection to a camera/mixing console, it is connected to the MZA 900P (Phantom) power supply. The microphone is matte black.
