KateLuo KT-7

The KateLuo KT-7 is a lightweight, basket-style windshield system designed to dramatically reduce handling and wind noise. It supports most shotgun microphones up to 425mm in length and 19–22mm in diameter.

Engineered for field recording professionals and broadcasters, the KateLuo KT-7 delivers outstanding acoustic isolation and wind noise suppression in a compact, ergonomic design. It features an integrated boom basket suspension system with internal spacing guides to stabilize your microphone and minimize unwanted mechanical noise.

The system accommodates most industry-standard shotgun microphones up to 425mm long and 19–22mm in diameter, offering flexible compatibility. A 3/8" threaded connector is built directly into the lightweight skeleton handgrip, making it compatible with standard boom poles and mounting systems.

Included in the package is a high-performance furry windshield, providing additional wind protection for harsh outdoor environments. With or without the handle, the KateLuo KT-7 remains lightweight and balanced, ideal for extended use during interviews, documentaries, or film sets.
