The folded length of the tripod is15" (without ball head), which is significantly less than many competing models. Weighing 2.6 lb (approx. 1.18 kg), it is easy to carry and fits easily into 20" carry-on luggage.

Ideal for travel

The hexagonal center column and legs allowfor a more compact fold than traditional round legs. The diameter when folded is 2.2" (approx. 5.6 cm), which is similar to a 0.5-liter bottle of mineral water, so the tripod can be easily held with one hand. The package also includes a carrying bag with a shoulder strap.
