The battery has a capacity of 1250 mAh. In practice that is roughly 380 shots each. In video one battery lasts around 2 h.
The battery charges straight over USB-C, so on the road a cable and any source will do — a power bank, a laptop or a car charger.
The chip watches over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current, short circuit and overheating, and switches to trickle charging once full.
An indicator on the battery itself shows charging: red while charging, green when full. A full charge takes about 2.5 hours.
