Lightweight aluminium tripod for a phone, compact camera, mirrorless camera or action camera. Folded it measures 43 cm, weighs 618 g and, thanks to the custom-shaped tubes with a 4.5 cm diameter, sits in one hand like a water bottle. It extends from 42 to 147 cm, the 3-way head pans 360° and tilts from −85° to +90°.

The S204A1 is the entry-level tripod of the Smart series for anyone who wants to keep a tripod with them at all times. The leg tubes are not round but shaped so that they nest into each other when folded – the tripod is then as thick as a water bottle, fits in a backpack or a 20" suitcase and travels in the included carrying bag.

Folded, the tripod has a diameter of about 4.5 cm and a length of 43 cm. It weighs 618 g, so you can carry it all day in your hand or in the side pocket of a backpack without noticing it.

The 4-section legs with flip locks extend from 42 cm up to 147 cm; the extendable center column adds the last bit of height. Low to the ground it suits tabletop shots and product photos, at full height vlogging, video calls or group photos on the road.

The 3-way head pans 360° horizontally for panoramas and tilts from −85° to +90°, so it handles a top-down shot as well as a view upwards. The camera mounts on the quick release plate with a 1/4" screw, the phone in the included phone holder. The tripod head is a fixed part of the tripod and cannot be swapped.

Aluminium alloy and a reinforced triangular base – braces connect the center column to the legs – keep the tripod steady even with a 2 kg load. The bubble level on the head helps line up the horizon, the non-slip rubber feet grip on paving as well as on smooth floors.
