Sparkle around the highlights

A diffusion filter scatters the light passing through and takes the hard edges off the picture without blurring it. Highlights around lamps and reflections bleed into a gentle glow, skin softens and the image picks up the feel of older lenses. The effect happens in the glass itself, so it responds to the real light in the scene.

Tiny mirrored facets are scattered through the glass, sprinkling a fine sparkle around bright areas. Unlike a hazy diffusion the picture does not soften overall — the contrast stays and only the highlights pick up glitter. It suits weddings, concerts and Christmas lights.
