Nano-X — light pollution filter 82 mm, damps the yellow light of street lamps. It comes into its own for night cityscapes, architecture and starry skies shot within reach of street lighting, and it shortens colour correction afterwards.

Night sky without the orange haze

The filter damps the narrow bands street lamps emit, so the night sky loses its orange cast and the stars separate from the background. It is no use for ordinary photography — colours would shift; it makes sense where the sky above a city is being photographed.

Anti-reflective layers

The glass carries 28 anti-reflective layers and reflects only 0.2 % of the light, so no ghosting or veiling appears against the light.

The coating targets the yellow and orange light of street lamps, so night cities get truer colours and the Milky Way above the horizon is not lost in an orange veil.
