The set brings together the filters most often used with this kit, so they need not be bought one at a time and all mount the same way. Exactly what is included is listed below. The filters can be used individually, depending on what the scene calls for.

The glass carries 28 anti-reflective layers and reflects only 0.2 % of the light, so no ghosting or veiling appears against the light.

The surface repels water and grease, so drops run off and fingerprints wipe away without smears; the coating also stands up to cleaning in the field.

The box holds the two pieces of glass you start a lens with: a UV filter that stays on permanently and protects the front element, and a polariser you fit when the reflection off water or foliage has to go and the blue sky should deepen.

Each filter comes with a metal cap, so the unscrewed glass can be closed and dropped into the pouch without picking up scratches from the keys in your bag.
