K&F Concept Nano-X ND filter ND8 58 mm

Nano-X — neutral density filter 58 mm, takes light away so you can lengthen the exposure or open the aperture. A fixed density suits situations that repeat — long exposures of water and clouds, a blurred background in sunshine or steady light when filming.

• Screws onto a lens with a 58 mm thread.

A neutral density filter takes light away without touching the colours. In daylight it lets you shoot wide open with a blurred background, film at 1/50 s by the cine rule, or lengthen the exposure until water melts into mist and people vanish from the frame.

The glass carries 28 anti-reflective layers and reflects only 0.2 % of the light, so no ghosting or veiling appears against the light.
