K&F Concept Screw-in Lens Hood 52 mm

The K&F Concept petal lens hood screws into the 52 mm filter thread on the front of the lens. It blocks side and back light that causes flare and haze in backlit and night scenes, and it also protects the front element from knocks, dust and fingerprints. A microfibre cleaning cloth is included.

A lens hood stops light from the edge of the frame or from behind the scene from reaching the front element. Images keep their contrast and colour saturation in backlight, side light and night scenes. The petal shape with its cut-outs is designed so that the hood does not vignette the corners of the frame.

For lenses with a ⌀52 mm thread

The hood screws straight into the filter thread of the lens. Before ordering, check the figure next to the ⌀ symbol on the lens barrel or lens cap – it must read 52 mm.

Lens protection in the field

The protruding rim of the hood takes a knock before the front element does and keeps water drops, dust and fingers away from it. The hood is made of a durable composite material, so it is ready for travel and outdoor shoots.
