Joby Wavo

Joby Wavo is a compact supercardioid microphone for cameras and phones, made for vloggers and creators on the go. The Rycote® Duo-Lyre® shock mount isolates vibrations, the foam windscreen cuts wind noise, and both a TRS cable for cameras and a TRRS cable for phones are included. It is powered by the connected device, needs no battery and weighs only 40 g.

Rycote® shock mount

The double-point Duo-Lyre® mount made of Hytrel® was designed by the Rycote team. It isolates the microphone from vibration and handling, so knocks from your hand or the tripod stay out of the recording.

Secure on the camera

The base slides into the cold shoe and locks with a ring. For extra security it can also be screwed straight onto a tripod with a 1/4"-20 thread.

Your voice, not the crowd

The supercardioid pattern points at the speaker and rejects the crowd and background noise. The foam windscreen takes away distracting sounds outdoors.

Camera and phone

A 3.5 mm TRS cable for cameras and a 3.5 mm TRRS cable for phones are included.

No battery

The microphone is powered by the connected device (plug-in power) – nothing to charge.

Wide frequency response

The electret condenser capsule captures 35 Hz – 20 kHz.

Pocket-sized

Vlogging rig
