HOWMOCO 12ft-MINI is a telescopic camera crane made of aviation aluminium alloy, which the maker calls the world’s lightest cinema telescopic arm. The 5 m arm telescopes in two stages, carries up to 12 kg and lifts an underslung camera to 4.67 m above the ground.
A lightweight aluminium crane with a 12 kg payload, telescopic arm and self-levelling head for film and broadcast production.

The one-piece arm body in aviation aluminium alloy weighs just 25 kg. Three sections telescope in two stages along an integrated guide rail.
The front arm is 3.65 m long and the rear arm 1.35 m. An underslung camera reaches up to 4.67 m above the ground.
The gravity self-swing damping levelling head keeps the camera level. Set the electronic damping and the A/B soft limits to suit the shot.
The arm reaches 5 m, yet its transport length is only 3.9 m, or 4.1 m in the outer flight case. The complete rig including counterweights weighs 59 kg.
The crane base uses a standard Mitchell mount interface.
The crane is powered by a standard V-mount battery.
Set the end points of the arm’s travel as soft limits.
The arm moves at a maximum speed of 1.2 m/s.
Side view dimensions. The overall arm length is 5,000 mm and at the highest position the camera reaches 4,675 mm.

Top view. Plan of the crane with its base and tripod; base dimensions 537 mm and 1,360 mm.
