Hollyland HL-TCB11 RJ45 Tally Cable

The Hollyland HL-TCB11 tally cable with RJ45 connectors on both ends is made for the Tally (RJ45) input on the tally station of the Hollyland Wireless Tally System. The RJ45 input handles up to 16 channels of dual-colour tally – more cameras than the DB25 input with its 12 channels. The station then sends PGM and PVW status to the tally lights up to 800 m away.

The Wireless Tally System station receives camera status in two ways: via the DB25 connector or via RJ45. The RJ45 path offers more channels, and next to the input there is a Control LOOP OUT pass-through port, so the switcher’s network link is not interrupted by the station.

RJ45 tally input on the tally station

The tally station has two RJ45 ports side by side: the Tally (RJ45) input this cable is meant for, and the Control LOOP OUT pass-through port for another device on the switcher network. Next to them sit the DB25 input, DC power and two TNC antenna connectors.

The DB25 input handles up to 12 channels of dual-colour tally, the RJ45 input up to 16. Each tally light is then assigned to its camera with the number dial and shows programme (PGM) in red and preview (PVW) in green.
