FUJIFILM XF23mmF2,8 R WR

The FUJIFILM XF23mmF2.8 R WR is a very compact and lightweight lens with a versatile focal length of 23mm (equivalent to 35mm when converted to full frame). It is designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras with Fujifilm X-mount. On sale from 12/2025.

The XF23mmF2.8R WR is fully compatible with the "X-Trans™ CMOS 5 HR" sensor, which offers a resolution of 40.2 megapixels.

The ultra-compact dimensions of the lens have been achieved using state-of-the-art processing technology, which has enabled the lens to be made thinner by reducing the external and structural parts to an absolute minimum. Ultra-compact and lightweight design ready for high resolution

The optical construction consists of 8 elements in 6 groups, including two aspherical elements. This composition minimizes aberration from the center to the edges and offers high resolution transmission.

Despite the high resolution transmission capability, the lens is optically compact. This has been achieved by thinning the optical elements using state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies. In addition to

The lens uses a focusing system in which all optical groups move. This approach effectively suppresses aberration variations depending on the focus position, allowing you to take high-quality images even at close range.

Stylish, easy-to-use and durable design

The material of the lens body has been carefully selected with respect to its texture and colour. A design with a bevelled front has been used to achieve a stylish and elegant look.

The focus ring for manual focusing is equipped with a high-precision sensor that allows smooth and accurate manual focus adjustment. As a result, it offers high precision and fine control even with a small rotation range.

Despite the short outer length of the lens, a solid ring is placed between the focus ring and the aperture ring. This prevents both rings from being accidentally manipulated at the same time. When operating, for example, the aperture ring, there is no risk of unintentional rotation of the focus ring, which increases the overall operating comfort.

The grooves on the back of the lens body allow easy gripping for convenient replacement.

The lens body has nine sealing points. This makes it resistant to dust, water droplets and can withstand temperatures down to -10°C. The XF23mmF2.8R WR can be safely used even in light rain or dusty environments.
