Cartoni Focus 10 SDS Alu System

The Cartoni Focus 10 SDS Alu System is a complete camera support for set-ups of up to 12 kg. It combines the Focus 10 fluid head with a two-stage aluminium SDS tripod, a Smart Lock mid-level spreader, pivoting rubber feet and a soft carrying bag. The whole system weighs 6.8 kg and works at heights of 64.5–175.5 cm. It suits lightweight digital cinema and news cameras.

SDS: two stages, one lever

SDS is the fastest one-lever two-stage tripod on the market and is covered by three patents. The Smart Lock spreader with its no-bind design allows super low angles with uncompromised stability.

Patented counterbalance

The Focus 10 head features patented continuously variable counterbalance and fluid drag on both pan and tilt.

Side-load quick release

The camera mounts on a side-load quick release plate; the head also has an illuminated bubble level.

±90° tilt

The head works across a ±90° tilt range and at temperatures from −40 to +60 °C.

64.5–175.5 cm

Low-angle shot

With the Smart Lock spreader the SDS tripod opens down to a very low position.

Focus 10 fluid head

Continuously variable counterbalance and fluid drag on both axes, a telescopic pan bar and a 100 mm bowl.

Balance control

The back of the head carries the balance knob and an illuminated bubble level for levelling the camera quickly.

Control levers

The bold red lock levers are easy to see on the head and easy to operate.
