The P6XL is a field monitor that needs nothing else — the battery is inside. No plate, no second battery, no cable to it, and nothing sticking out of the rig. The IPS panel at 1200 cd/m² stays readable outdoors in shade and against the light, and it is touch-driven.

Two hours on a charge

22.2 Wh battery, charged over USB-C

The built-in 3000 mAh battery lasts about two hours at full brightness with the fan running, and charges in about the same time. Charging goes over USB-C and works with PD, QC and AFC fast charging — the supply must deliver 9 V. You can shoot while charging.

Tools for the set

Waveform, vector scope, histogram, peaking, false colours, exposure, check field, nine grid, safe-area and ratio markers, anamorphic mode, image flip and freeze, zoom, pixel to pixel and embedded audio. Custom 3D LUTs load over USB-C, and so does firmware.

Aluminium body with cooling

The body is machined from aluminium, which makes it rigid and carries heat away. The rest is handled by a five-speed fan — turn it down for a quiet scene, run it up for a long day in the sun. The input is 4K HDMI, with a 3.5 mm headphone output alongside.
