Expansion Mounting Bracket Kit for Boulder Camera Cart XL - Black

The Tilta Expansion Mounting Bracket Kit TC-T02-EMK-B gives the Boulder Camera Cart XL a top bar for monitors and accessories. Two posts attach tool-free to the cart and carry a horizontal bar with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, where monitors hang from quick release mounts and other add-ons from articulating arms. You set the bar height to suit the setup; version for the XL cart, black.

The Tilta Expansion Mounting Bracket Kit for the Boulder Camera Cart XL is a mounting bar above the top tray of the cart. Directors, DITs and camera assistants get the monitor at eye level without it taking up space on the tray — and around it there is a row of threads for lights, wireless receivers and other small accessories.

Two posts, one bar above the cart

The kit consists of two vertical posts and a horizontal bar. The posts clamp to the Boulder XL cart with two toggle screw clamps, so the kit goes on and comes off without tools and its height shifts depending on how high the monitor should sit. The bar length is made for the wider XL cart (TC-T02); for the standard Boulder the shorter TC-MB-B kit is the one to use.

Threads for monitors and small accessories

Along the full length of the bar run 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads. The monitor hangs from a quick release mount — for example the Tilta Monitor Mounting Bracket, which is not part of the kit — and next to it, lights, receivers or a recorder attach via articulating arms and similar mounts. The black-finished aluminum bar matches the rest of the Boulder family.

The Tilta Boulder cart

The Boulder Camera Cart is an aluminum camera cart with a 400 kg payload that assembles without tools and folds into a case with its own wheels after the shoot. The posts are 40mm speed rails, the crossbars follow the NATO and Manfrotto standards and the trays carry 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads — that is where every accessory of the Boulder family mounts, including this one.
