Each expansion battery adds 6,144 Wh to the system. A DELTA Pro Ultra X inverter manages up to ten batteries (61.4 kWh), and three inverters in parallel up to thirty batteries – 184 kWh. The batteries connect plug-and-play, without tools or configuration, and their status is monitored in the EcoFlow app. The battery is also compatible with the previous-generation DELTA Pro Ultra inverter.
The battery uses LFP cells with full-tab contacts, the kind fitted in electric vehicles. Lower internal resistance means a more efficient power flow and less self-heating; the cells are matched for identical capacity, voltage and resistance, and automatic balancing maintains their state over the whole service life.
The local X-Guard BMS monitors over 40 conditions – overcharge, deep discharge, extreme temperatures, short circuits and component failures. The cloud BMS continuously evaluates the data on top of that and alerts you instantly on any anomaly. Connection monitoring tracks the temperature of cables and interfaces and can shut the system down immediately. In freezing weather the battery heats itself before charging; charging is possible up to 45 °C.
