Each expansion battery adds 6,144 Wh to a DELTA Pro Ultra system. One inverter can run up to five batteries – 30 kWh – which for a typical household means weeks of running the fridge, lights and other essentials. The batteries stack on top of each other, so the whole set takes up the footprint of a single unit in a garage or utility room.
The battery connects plug-and-play with the supplied connection cable, without tools or configuration. With three or more batteries in one stack, a metal fixing tab is required for safe stacking; EcoFlow supplies it on request through customer service.
LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells retain more than 80% of their original capacity after 3,500 cycles. The battery management system (BMS) protects against overvoltage, overload, overtemperature, short circuit, low temperature, undervoltage and overcurrent. The battery operates from −20 to 45 °C and is rated IP54 against dust and splashing water – with all ports covered.
The battery only operates with the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra inverter.
