PICTOR ZOOM · SUPER 35 CINE

Ultra-wide parfocal zoom

The Pictor 12–25mm T2.8 combines the widest perspective in the series with parfocal performance for smooth changes in field of view without the need for repeated refocusing.

Mechanics for a precise cine workflow

Constant T2.8–T22, 16-blade aperture, 0.8 MOD focus, aperture, and zoom gears, and 270° focus travel work seamlessly with follow focus, motors, and other cine systems. Interchangeable PL/EF mounts support flexible workflow across setups.

Detail and wide-angle coverage

A minimum focusing distance of 0.4 m allows you to capture fine details even in confined spaces. The official sample image for the series demonstrates its imaging character; it is labeled as part of the Pictor family, not as a standalone test of the 12–25mm lens.

A wider horizon without changing lenses

Sample frame with the Pictor 12–25mm: the ultra-wide range takes in more of the setting while emphasising the foreground. The zoom lets you reframe without stopping.

Space, depth and controlled perspective

Greater depth of field and a wide field of view connect the subject with the setting. Distortion and edge rendering stay under control even in tight spaces.

Useful features from the original description

The lens maintains focus throughout the entire zoom range with minimal focus breathing. The naturally circular bokeh of the 16-blade aperture and the consistent mechanics of the Pictor series make it ideal for feature films, commercials, documentaries, and other productions.
