Both lenses maintain focus throughout the zoom range, allowing smooth reframing without refocusing. The Catta full-frame series delivers accurate, natural color reproduction and smooth focus-to-defocus transitions. With a constant T2.9 aperture across both zoom lenses, exposure remains consistent throughout the range, while the 16-blade iris creates soft, cinematic bokeh. Minimal focus breathing preserves composition during focus pulls.

Engineered with true cine mechanics, each lens offers 270° focus rotation for precise manual control, 100° zoom rotation, and wide iris rotation (77° on the 18-35mm and 75° on the 35-80mm). Industry-standard 0.8 MOD gears ensure compatibility with follow focus systems. The lenses feature a Sony E-mount with interchangeable mount capability (optional RF, L, X, and Z mounts available separately), enhancing cross-platform versatility.

The included hard-shell case features a laser-cut foam interior designed to cradle and protect the lenses during storage and transport.
