The DJI CrystalSky 5.5" High-Brightness Monitor is purpose-built for outdoor aerial and professional video applications, offering performance far beyond standard smartphones or tablets. Its 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 × 1080) LCD panel delivers an impressive 1000 cd/m² brightness, making it approximately four times brighter than typical mobile devices. This ensures clear visibility, accurate colors, and sharp detail even under intense sunlight, aided by a dedicated Sunlight Readability Enhancement Mode for real-time image optimization.

CrystalSky runs on a customized Android operating system stripped of unnecessary background apps and services, resulting in faster performance, improved stability, and resistance to viruses or junk software. Optimized hardware video decoding enables smooth, real-time playback with minimal latency, eliminating common issues such as video stutter or delay experienced on conventional smart devices. The integrated DJI GO app provides full access to camera control, flight parameters, media management, and playback, with offline maps available for use without Wi-Fi.

The monitor features dual microSD card slots, allowing direct playback of recorded footage, extended storage, or on-site backups. Built-in video editing tools make it easy to quickly trim and share content to social media. It supports H.264 and H.265 video decoding up to 60 fps and can output video up to 4K via HDMI to FPV goggles or external displays.

Powered by a removable 4920mAh external battery, the CrystalSky delivers up to 5–6 hours of operation on the 5.5" model and supports fast charging. Designed for extreme conditions, it operates reliably in temperatures as low as -20°C (-4°F) and up to 40°C (104°F) thanks to its efficient thermal management system. With wide compatibility across DJI drone and camera systems—including Inspire, Phantom, Matrice, and Osmo (excluding Osmo Mobile)—the CrystalSky is an essential monitoring solution for professional drone pilots and filmmakers.
