Datavideo VP-929 4K HDMI Repeater

Datavideo VP-929 is a 4K HDMI repeater for extending cable runs in fixed installations. It adds up to 10 m at resolutions up to 4K or up to 15 m with an HD signal. Up to three units can be cascaded for a total distance of up to 60 m in HD. The first unit can draw power from HDMI; additional units can be powered through mini USB from a 5 V source. Cable holders on the chassis allow the cables to be secured with cable ties; four ties are included.

Extend HDMI for fixed installations

Datavideo VP-929 adds up to 10 m of reach at resolutions up to 4K, or up to 15 m with an HD signal. Up to three repeaters can be connected in sequence; with HD, the total transmission distance can reach 60 m. Its compact design suits cable runs routed through ceilings, walls or other locations where the cable cannot be easily accessed after installation.

Power and cable securing

The first VP-929 in a chain can draw power from the HDMI signal. Each additional repeater can be powered through mini USB from a 5 V, 500 mA source, including a USB power bank. Cable holders on the chassis let you secure HDMI cables with standard cable ties, four of which are included.

In a fixed installation

VP-929 is intended for fixed cable runs, such as above a ceiling or through a wall, where the cable cannot be easily adjusted after installation. Plan the signal resolution and cable segments in advance: the repeater adds up to 10 m at 4K or up to 15 m in HD.
