Full size XLR for Video Assist 7″

A pair of adapter cables converts the mini XLR analog audio inputs to standard XLR connectors.

Video Assist 7″ 3G and 7″ 12G HDR have two balanced mini XLR inputs with phantom power – one cable for each.

Blackmagic Design offers the adapter cables with order code HYPERD/AXLRMINI2 as an accessory for the Video Assist range.

Microphones and mixers with standard XLR

Professional microphones, audio mixers and other audio equipment use full size XLR connectors. Plug one end of the cable into the mini XLR input on the side of the Video Assist monitor and connect a standard XLR cable to the other – no further adapters needed. Audio is then recorded together with the picture at 48 kHz and 24-bit.
