Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro PL Mount

The optional PL mount lets you use traditional professional cinema lenses with Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 and URSA Mini Pro 12K cameras. Contacts in the mount support the Cooke i/Technology protocol, so lens data is saved with the recording as metadata. On the 12K model a PL mount is supplied with the camera; this part serves as a spare or replacement.

Lens data right in the recording

The contacts pass on the lens make and model, serial number, iris setting, focus distance and zoom position. The data is saved as metadata and can be used in software such as DaVinci Resolve.

Servo lenses

Cine-servo zoom lenses can be powered and controlled through the 12-pin Hirose connector on the camera.

Accessories included

The mount comes with a shim set, a PL Baffle, a Baffle Tool, spare mounting screws and a moulded case.
